  • 15 Oct 2007: The GridRM demonstration is currently offline while we reorganise our servers; it will reappear soon.
  • 2 Jun 2007: We have been updating the GridRM gateways and interfaces over the last few months. A new Web interface based on Gridsphere portlets will be released soon. Screenshots from our test environment can be found here.

  • Domain name change: The gridrm.org, gridrm.com and grid.net domain names have been purchased for this project. The project was moved out from the DSG projects web site on the 16th September 2003. Despite the name change GridRM remains a research project under the control of the Distributed Systems Group (DSG), University of Portsmouth
  • Status: Recent work on the GridRM Local Layer (enhanced JDBC drivers for our example datasources, Naming Schema implementation, request translations and data normalisation) is coming to a close with focus now returning to the Global Layer and GMA transport. (archived 17 Oct 2003).
