GridRM

Resource Monitoring for the Grid: Standardised mechanisms for harvesting raw data from heterogeneous sources so that a client is supplied with monitoring data that has been normalised to a standard format and thus has a homogenous view of the data collected.

The latest project news (old news is archived here):

  • 2nd Dec 2008: We are currently investigating techniques for the monitoring of hypervisor-based virtualisation systems. More on this effort will appear soon.
  • As part of our work with the SORMA project, a client APIa has been produced that is intended to provide common features required by GridRM clients.
